56 gallon propane tank

56 Gallon Tank

  • Typically sized for ovens, ranges and clothes dryers

  • 43” high and 24” in diameter

  • Holds 48 gallons of propane

120 gallon propane tank

120 Gallon Tank

  • Handles Hot water heaters, pool heaters, and space heaters

  • 54.4" high and 30" in diameter

  • Holds 100 gallons of propane

250 gallon propane tank

  • Handles generators, appliances, and pool heaters

  • 7'10" long and 30" in diameter

  • Holds 200 gallons of propane

  • 10ft from a source of ignition, property that can be built upon, or building

  • 125ft from access point for propane delivery truck

  • System installed with 2 stage system

  • Gas line ran in poly pipe, copper, galvanized, black iron, or CSST

  • Note: copper, galvanized, black iron, and CSST all have special requirements

  • Gas line needs to be sleeved if ran underneath a driveway or concrete slab

  • System needs anode bag, 9lb. for 250 gallon, 17lb. for 500 gallon, and 2-17lb. for 1000 gallon

  • Anode bags need to be checked at install date, 12-18 months after, and then 3 years after

  • 10ft from a source of ignition, property line that can be built upon, or building

  • 125ft from access point for propane delivery truck

  • Tank installed on solid masonry foundation

  • System installed with 2 stage system

  • Gas line ran in poly pipe, copper, galvanized, black iron, or CSST

  • Note: Copper, galvanized, black iron, and CSST all have special requirements

  • Gas line needs to be sleeved if ran underneath a driveway or concrete slab

  • If you have more than 1 tank, tanks need to be installed 3ft apart side-to-side or 10ft end-to-end, also the 10ft distance requirement rule changes to 25ft
